Which chapter am I in, and when does it end?
Your life drawn as periods, each its real length, with the one you are standing in lit. Ages under each.
FREE · NO ACCOUNT · NOTHING LEAVES YOUR DEVICE
Your birth chart, read the Vedic way. The period running over your life right now, when it turns, and what tonight's sky is doing against it. In a minute, from a date, a time and a place.
ONE SKY, MANY LIVES
Counted live, against every documented birth in the page. No name appears here — the names live inside, after you cast.
Nobody has this chart.
Many have parts of it.

05 · MATCHING
A reasoning engine for Vedic astrology — a classical Parashari lineage formalised into explicit, checkable rules, then tested against thousands of chart-years of real lives. Nothing here is generated from a template, and nothing is guessed. Your chart, your timeline and your sky are free, and stay free.
Still cast Without a birth time there is no ascendant, so the chart is shown from the Moon only.
Switched off, not guessed D9 and D10 are built from the ascendant too, so they are off rather than guessed.
Some rules read differently for each. It changes nothing else about your chart.
Nothing.
Nothing goes away to be worked out. The ephemeris and the whole rule set run here, in this browser, on this device.
IF YOU KNOW YOUR SUN SIGN AND NOT MUCH ELSE
ONE
Western astrology describes who you are. This one also says when. Your Moon starts a sequence of periods that runs your whole life, in years and months, and you are inside one of them tonight.
TWO
The signs here sit where the stars sit. Your Sun may move back one sign — that is not a mistake, and we will show you the moment it happens on your own chart, with why.
THREE
Under the twelve signs runs a finer wheel of twenty-seven stars. Your Moon is on one of them, and it says more about you than your Sun sign ever did. Every Sanskrit word opens, in plain English, where it appears.
Beyond Moonlight reads a birth chart the way an instrument reads a signal — by rule, not by mood. No flattery, no doom, no horoscope-column filler.
Most astrology apps are written to please. This one was built for a harder job: to be accurate, and to stay kind while being accurate. Those are not the same thing, and we don't pretend they are.
One chart, read properly. The natal figure, the periods running over it, the sky as it moves against it today, and a notebook to keep what you find — with a written journal behind all of it.
It is deliberately narrow. The day itself, the live sky overhead, eclipses and compatibility are separate instruments in the same family, linked from the menu. This one answers only what needs a birth chart to mean anything.
A classical Parashari lineage was formalised into explicit, checkable rules — then tested against thousands of chart-years of real human data: real careers, real marriages, real turning points, real reversals.
Algorithms decide the structure. Real lives decide what survives. A rule that can't predict something falsifiable doesn't ship. That is why our coverage grows sign by sign instead of arriving complete on day one.
Every reading is deduced, never generated: your Moon sets the clock, lordship sets the meaning, and both frames of your chart — the life you feel and the life people see — are read against each other.
And it shows the work. A finding carries the rule it came from, named, with the conditions that fired it — so there is a reasoning to disagree with and not only a verdict. The chart itself is computed here, on your device, in a moment.
Descriptive, never prescriptive. A chart describes terrain. It does not hand out orders, and anyone who tells you your chart forbids something is selling fear.
Honest, and never bare. When something in a chart is hard, we say so — and we never leave it there. Every difficulty is shown with what genuinely offsets it, because a half-read chart is what actually frightens people.
You own your data. Your birth date, time and coordinates stay on this device. Which sky a chart resolved to is recorded so the engine can keep being tested against real lives — that testing is the whole method, and we would rather say so than bury it. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared, and one switch stops the recording entirely.
Free is not a trial. The chart, the periods, the transits and the notebook cost nothing — they are the product working. What money buys is depth: the interpretive layer this engine was built to produce. If that is not worth paying for, the free tier is not a lesser thing to be nudged out of. It is the thing.
WHAT IT HAS GOT RIGHT
Readers grade their own readings — hit, miss, or cannot say. The running number is below, and it includes every miss. There is no date filter and nothing is ever removed.
There is no number here yet, and there will not be one until fifty readers have marked a reading where a rule fired and fifty have marked one where none did. Until then this space says so rather than showing something smaller.
When it arrives it stays, whatever it says. If the difference comes out at zero, the rules are adding nothing and this line will report a zero.
WHERE THE LINE IS
There is one difference between the free chart and the paid one, and it is not a feature list. It is how far down the timeline the reading goes.
FREE, FOREVER everything that ships today
Where you are, now.
Nothing on this side has ever moved to the other side, and nothing will. Free is not a trial — it is the product working.
DEPTH the next twelve months, dated
Where you are going, with dates on it.
Each date carries the rule it came from, named — so there is a reasoning to disagree with. The rule’s own text is not printed; that is the lineage, and it is not ours to give away.
WHY IT IS FREE
Beyond Moonlight is an ongoing research project — a classical lineage of Vedic astrology being brought, carefully, to a global audience, with people involved and a written journal behind it. The chart, the timeline, the sky and the notebook cost nothing and will keep costing nothing.
IF IT GAVE YOU SOMETHING
Leave a tip. Keep the lamp on.
There is nowhere to send one yet. When there is, it will sit right here — and it will still never be a countdown, a discount, or a door that closes.
No account is made, nothing unlocks, nothing is remembered. A tip changes what you can do here by exactly nothing.
